Happy 215th Anniversary, Thomas Jefferson!
On November 10, 1798, the Kentucky State House passed the Resolutions of 1798 – which were signed later that week by the Governor. Originally drafted by Thomas Jefferson, the Kentucky Resolutions spelled out the remedy of state nullification of unconstitutional federal laws.
